How jouleslabs built deedsign a simple and accessible digital signature platform

From concept to 3,400+ global users in less than a year

DeedSign began in August 2023 with a clear goal: to make electronic signatures simple, fast, and accessible to everyone. Most eSignature tools catered to large enterprises with complex pricing and features that small users rarely needed.

JoulesLabs partnered with DeedSign to build a cross-platform signing solution focused on ease of use, transparency, and a seamless experience across web and mobile.

Challenges & Solutions

Problem

Problem Statement

The eSignature market was saturated, but underserved in accessibility and simplicity. The main challenges were:

  • Overly complex tools not suited for individuals or small teams
  • Limited mobile functionality across existing platforms
  • Confusing and expensive pricing models

The goal was to design a product that worked for both individuals and small organizations, delivering professional-grade signing without enterprise overhead.
